Florida Gators are Overrated!

The new AP preseason poll was released and Florida State was ranked number five. Every preseason poll has the Noles there. I know the Gator fans are going to start the, "it's only preseason", whining, but I can not remember any of them saying it was only preseason when they were ranked high in other years long gone by. I believe this is the only poll that has Florida ranked in the top twenty five. They are at 23. I know it is only my opinion, however, I must say they are living off , distant, past, reputation. At number twenty three they are seriously overrated. Com'on Gators let me hear from you. Unless your heads are stuck in the swamp or some place else where the, "sun don't shine."

  1. I have said it before, and I will say it again I think the Gators will go 8-5 this season. I am a HUGE Gator fan and an avid lover of sports. However, I am a very realistic sports fan. Just as an FYI: Both the AP & USA Today pre-season polls have the Gators ranked in the top 25. The AP has them at 22 & the USA Today has they at 23.

I will make note that the Seminoles are ranked number 5 in a pre-season poll. However I would also like to point out that in that same pre-season poll 8 SEC teams are ranked in the top 25. There is a reason why the SEC has won 5 Straight BCS titles, because the SEC is the best conference in college football hands down! The facts are there to prove it. And as I said before I am a realistic sports fan.

Realistically FSU will win an ACC title again this year. Only because the ACC is just that weak of a conference!! They will then get blown out in whatever BCS bowl they play in. FSU has not been to a BCS bowl since the 2005 Orange Bowl which they lost to one of your favorite teams, Penn St. The ACC has not won a National Championship since FSU won it in 1999 simply because they are a weak conference. Meanwhile, I will repeat that the SEC has won 5 straight National Championships. I think the National Championship will be won this year by either LSU or Alabama keeping the National Championship in the SEC for a 6th straight year.
